Delete your Engagement AI account

This page explains how to delete your account in Engagement AI: Social Manager, by [[COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME]], and what happens to your data.

In the app

1. Open Engagement AI and sign in.
2. Open Settings and choose Delete account.
3. If you are the only owner of a workspace, choose whether to hand it to another member or to delete it.
4. Confirm. You are signed out on every device.

Without the app

Write to support@engagementai.net from the email address you use for Engagement AI, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm the request with you and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted, and when

• At once: your sign-in, your devices, your memberships in workspaces, and any Sign in with Apple authorisation.
• Your email address and name are removed at once; the rest of your user record is deleted after 30 days.
• A workspace you chose to delete: its Instagram data at once, everything else after 30 days.

What is kept

• Workspaces that have another owner, or that you handed to another member, with the messages and settings in them.
• Security and audit records, without message content, for one year.
• Purchase records for [[STORE_RECORDS_YEARS]] years, as tax and commercial law require. Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in your store account first: App Store · Google Play.
